we're staying at the pop & we'd like to go horseback riding...take the bus to MK then the boat to Fort Wilderness or take a bus to Fort Wilderness? which is quicker? How much time should we allow? once at fort wilderness, are the stables within walking distance to the stables or is their a shuttle? thanks!

There are no busses from POP to FW.

Your best bet is to take the bus to MK, monorail to the TTC and bus to FW.

Including wait time for the bus and monorail and bus figure about 60 minutes. Should be less. It depends on how lucky you get.

The other option is to take the bus to MK and then take the boat. You will then need to take a bus to the front of FW where the stables are.

Hi,
Take the bus to MK, the boat to FW, then a bus from settlement depot to outpost depot. Unless it has changed, the bus from ttc to fw goes to settlement depot, not the outpost where the trail rides are, so you would just be adding the additional transportation/wait time for the monorail.

thanks, looks like i'll allow an hour to arrive there from pop to the stables.
