Getting to the MK Super Early ...

Whats the earliest boat to the MK?

I want to get there as early as possible - do you think the boat is best?

Or we could drive ...

MK opens at 9 the day we will be there. Can I get there by 7?

I know its weird, but I have a strange desire to be there super duper early - like I'd love it if we were there before anyone else

We had to be at MK super early for the behind the scenes train tour. I don't remember whether it was 7:00 or 7:30. The only ways we could get there on time (according to WDW customer service) was to drive to The Contemporary and walk over or get a taxi. The guards at The Contemporary are used to people parking there to get to MK early. They told us where to park and which sidewalk to take.

At the beginning of the train tour, we were allowed on Main Street while the workers were still there. It was interesting to see all the work trucks and how HUGE they looked compared to the buildings on Main Street.

We also did the train tour several years ago. We actually took teh boat over from the Fort. It left at like 6:45 - VERY early. There is a phone out by the dock and you can call to let them know you are there. That was several years ago but it may be worth asking about.

The monorail would also be a good option.

It is very cool to see the MK early in the morning. It is very peaceful.

The boat to MK startsn hour before opening. To get there earlier, take the 6:45am boat to the Contemporary and walk the path to the MK. The Contemporary Resort guards are not suppose let you park there to go to the MK.

WDW Customer Service says you can park at The Contemporary very early only if you have reservations for the Train Tour. I believe we had to show our reservation confirmation. If allmydisneydreams wants to go very early, I recommend signing up for the tour.

While I would LOVE to do the train tour or some other behind the scenes tour, we won't be able to do that this time, so parking at the Contemporary isn't an option.

But the 6:45 Contemporary boat would work

Does the boat run that early every day?

How long does it take to walk the path once off the boat?

Also - do you guys know what time the TTC opens/monorails start running? Because I could also park really early, take a monorail to the Contemporary and then walk, right?

I know we were able to park at the Contemporary last time when we went to Chef Mickey's, but we did have a reservation. Its really only fair that you can park there for reservations only... or their whole lot would be full of MK go'ers.

This is good though - boat or monorail to Contemporary, then the path ... I've always wanted to see what that was like anyway...
