Getting to the ceremony question?

Ok, so I am planning on having a SBP ceremony and i will be staying at either the yacht club or beach club. I was hoping to use the limo included in our package later in the evening to take out guests home since we are so close to our hotel.

But this brings one question, how do i get to the ceremony?

Walk.

Sea Breeze point is about a 5-minute walk from the Beach Club and maybe an 8- or 9-minute walk from the Yacht Club.

but wouldn't i be seen by everyone?

Your guests and the groom and groomsmen are all sent to the site first so that you can make your grand entrance. It's true that it is probably easier for guests seated at the ceremony site to spot you as you walk from the Beach Club than it would be if you were walking from the BoardWalk, just because of the way the gazebo is situated.

But if you want to use the limo after the ceremony and you don't want to pay for "show" transportation, like a vintage car, that's pretty much your only option. The limo use can't be broken up over different time periods.

Oh, wait - you could grab a Friendship Boat at the Yacht Club dock but I believe it would take you to Epcot before it would stop at the BoardWalk, and then you'd have to walk all the way from the BoardWalk boat dock anyway.

When I was originally planning a ceremony at SBP, I tried to hold the Limo off until night as well. From what I can remember, I wasn't going to be allowed to do this, the reason being that transportation needed to be available in the event of rain.

You can use a lux van to bring home guests in the evening. They are $25 each way, and seat 8 people. We are doing this to bring our guests home from our rehearsal DP. They are all going to the same hotel, so I am not sure how it would work with multiple stops.

I took the Rolls Royce over from the Beach Club. It met me out back and drove over the bridge to get to SBP. If you walk, you won't be too obvious to anyone in SBP. Even if they can see you, you'd be a fair distance away. There's even a back way out of the Villas side that would put you closer to the bridge and mostly behind trees until you arrived. To be honest, I didn't really want to be seen either, but it ended up being that almost everyone saw me because of the way they came through the hotel when we were taking pictures and waiting in the lobby for the car, not because of the way I went over!
