Getting to Petty Driving Exp?????

My husband really wants to do the Richard Petty Driving Experience, so I thought I'd surprise him on our January trip. We are staying at Saratoga Springs and won't have a rental car. Is there any way to get there using Disney transportation or should I just plan on using a cab? We have a baby so Disney transportation is so much easier because I won't have to worry about a carseat.

There is parking at the Magic Kingdom (TTC) kennel for the experience, and they transport people from there. If you could get to TTC, I imagine you could use that same transportation.

We love Disney: Did you want to get him the ride along experience? It is regularly $99 but right now if you buy it ahead of time it is only $59 (through Dec 31st). You can call 1-800-be petty and charge it, then they'll send you a certificate in the mail. I did this last week - we are going in January too & this will be DH's second experience. $40 is a good savings!

I believe there is even an option to keep it a surprise - maybe they'll mail them in an unmarked envelope (?). You should ask when you call. The deal is not available if you walk up and buy tickets the same day, only if you call ahead of time but the certificate is good anytime after Jan 1st, no reservations required.
