Getting to MK resorts from staying offsite?

I've always stayed offsite and just went directly to the park parking lots. I'm thinking about exploreing some of the MK resorts on our off time this summer. How do I get to the resort area? When I mapquest it, it takes me right through the parking lot booths. Is that right? I'd be coming up World Dr from the south. Thanks.

When you get close to the parks, the different resorts have their own signs. We visited the Beach Club to experience the kitchen sink at Beaches and Cream and it was very clearly marked. I don't think you'll have any trouble finding the resorts you wish to visit.
