Next monday I and doing the KTTK tour at MK and need to be there by 8:15. I have a rental and want to drive. If I park in the lot will the boat or Mono be running at 8am, or can I park at CR and walk over? and will they let me?

The two times we have done the "magic behind the steam trains" we were told to park at Contemporary. I'm sure there are a lot of people that will tell you that you shouldn't park at the Contemporary, but personally... the 3-4 cars for the few tours that start that early are not going to affect Contemporary parking. Yes I have been a guest at BLT too, and it still doesn't bother me.

The Resort Monorail starts running at 7 a.m. It makes 2 stops between TTC & MK, so you should probably allow 30 minutes rather than 15.

I don't know whether or not you would be allowed to park at the CR. The Steam Train tour starts an hour earlier than KTTK, so guests are told to park at CR for that tour.

As long as one of the mono's are running I should park at the TTC? and THe resort starts at 7. right? I would guess so since MK ADR's start at 8am

Yes the Resort Monorail starts every morning at 7:00 AM and you can get on it from the Transportation & Ticket Center. Just remember once it leaves from there it will stop at the Polynesian and Grand Floridian before it arrives at the Magic Kingdom.

Park at the TTC and take the monorail over. Be there by 7:15 at the latest. Or, pay to valet park at the CR and then walk back to the MK. That way no one can complain about parking at the CR.
