Getting to LAX....

Looking for directions for a Saturday morning (noon flight) from PP at Disneyland to LAX. I need to first return the rental at Dollar.

What is the best way to go, and how early do I need to leave DL?

You shouldn't have too much a problem on Saturday morning, but LAX always has the potential for long lines so I would leave early -- 8:00 or 8:30. From Disney go south on the 5 just a few miles and then merge onto the 22 West. That turns into the 405. You want 405 North. Get off at La Tijera and follow the signs towards the Airport. You'll see Airport Dr. -- take a left onto Airport and I think the rental car places are all along that road. But of course check exactly where your rental place is because I'm not sure. But that should get you very close. Have fun in Disneyland!

Personally, I have found it faster to go from the Paradise Pier Hotel - turn left on Disneyland Drive, and pass Ball to get on the 5-North, then take the 91-West, to the 605-North. The next off-ramp is the 105-West, which will take you right to the LAX airport. Get off on Aviation, turn left on Century & follow the signs to the rental car agencies. They have shuttles that will take you to LAX. Another way is to take the 105-West to Sepulveda & follow the signs to the car rental agencies just past the airport.
