Getting to Kona?

We'll be staying at POR and have a breakfast ADR at 8:15am on May 2 at Kona. That's also our day to go to Islands of Adventure, so we figured we'd arrange taxi transportation from Kona to IoA, but what do you recommend for getting to the restaurant from POR? Bus transportation? A taxi? What do you think makes the most sense? Thanks in advance!

If you don't want to taxi back I would monorail to MK & catch the POR bus from there.

Have you looked into renting a car for the day from Alamo at the Car Care Center? Often, it is more economical to do a one day rental than it is to taxi round trip to IOA.

The provide complimentary shuttle service so they could pick you up from Poly, take you pick up your car & you could be on your way.

To get to Kona you would need to take the MK bus from POR. Then from MK you will need to take the monarail or the ferry to the Poly.

OR if you decide to do the one day car rental, which probably will be cheaper than taxi to/from IOA, you could have Alamo pick you up at POR, pick up your car, the drive to Kona for breakfast. After be on your way to IOA.
