Since I kind of already started this, lets continue it!

Who was your first concert, how old were you and what grade were you in?

Mine was the Osmond Brothers, I had turned 11 the month before and I was in 5th grade. I have not seen them "live" since but am going to go see Donny and Marie on Friday!:yay:

Nice! Have fun on Friday!

My first concert was Simple Minds - I would have been 17 and in High School.

My first concert was Donny Osmond. Marie and the others might have been there lol. I think I was in fourth grade- 1976! I was about 10. My room was plastered with Donny posters. I still have all the albums.
My second was The BEEGEES! Good times......
Rita, have a great time and I'd love to see pictures lol!

My first concert (not counting Sesame Street Live!! ;) ) was Whitney Houston. I was in the 5th or 6th grade. Her singing was great, but for some reason, she wasn't thrilled to be there, and she kept making comments! :rotfl2:

My first concert was Aerosmith (aren't I the little rebel, yup that was us, five good little parocial school girls going to rock out). I was a sophmore in high school so that would have made me what about 15? I attended with Mrs. Dopey's aunt.

My first concert was Donny Osmond and the Osmond Brothers too!!! I was so in love with Donny. My Mom took me for my birthday and she still complains about all the screaming!!:lmao: I'm thinking I was 11 and in fifth grade, but it could have been 10 and 4th grade.

Lisa, my DS's first concert was Aerosmith! He was in 5th grade and I took him to that because he was crazy about them. I couldn't hear for a couple of hours after that concert!:lmao:

I just turned 16 and my first concert was Byran Adams. My second concert that year was Foreigner.

WOW!! Y'all make me feel really old!

My first concert was at Madison Square Garden. I was 16 and saw the Beach Boys. Took the train up with my best friend. We thought we were all that...and a Bag of Chips popcorn::

I was 17... had to tell my parents I was "studying" for a big final (2 weeks into the semester)...I went to see White Snake and Montley Crew! LOL!

I had never been to a concert before...and let me tell you.. I had more fun making fun of the stoned out idiots in front of us... what a waste of a moment!

Each summer I & the kids pick one night and go to the free stage to see the up and coming country singers!!! We've seen lots of them.. Rascal Flatts was one of them years ago.. I took my DD to her first concert when she was 9 months old! LOL This past summer we were able to see Josh Gracin... he actually stood just 5 feet off my left shoulder in one portion of the concert!!!

DH was a huge Greatful Dead fan, so we went to the Spectrum in Philly lots to see them....

They also would do outdoor concerts at Veterans Stadium. DS20's first concert was in my tummy at the outdoor venue. Then he went back as a baby in a tie dye diaper cover. Everyone was giving the baby balloons as they went by, telling him to hit the balloon...he laughed and laughed... He was pointing and saying "BA-MOON!!! BA-MOON!!!" He was a hit!

OK...mini rant...Now "The Dead" is touring, and DH so wanted tickets. It was worse than getting the 365 project. The site crashed, and when it came up again, no tickets were available. Same thing happened when I tried to get Phish tickets last week for DS20, and yesterday when I tried to get Jimmy Buffet tickets. They make you use the puter to buy now, and scalpers buy huge blocks of tickets, and resell them for double. No way an average person can get tickets anymore. It's so sad :sad2:

I think mine was probably George Strait at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. I'm not really sure how old, but in the early high school range.

DD's first concert was Hannah Montana in November of 2007, she was 7. And like DIT's mom, I may never recover from the screaming. :lmao:

I was 17, a senior in HS, and it was America. Opening act was Eric Carmen - anyone remember him?

My first concert was Little River Band. I think it was the summer before 9th or 10th grade. I also saw George Carlin, Melissa Manchester (not sure why,, maybe she warmed for LRB), Journey (PAt Benatar warmed for them).

My dad worked for a beer distributing company and would have to go to the concerts to make sure everything was OK. Mostly stopped in and left at this one venue; a small outdoor theater. But when there was someone worth staying for he would. All but the Journey concert. I snuck in because dad was out of town. I told the guys at the gate I was with the "ice lady". I had met the lady who distributed the ice to all the food and drink tables. I used her as an excuse. I did go help her out for awhile and then watched the concert.

I saw Ringo Starr and his all-Starr band for my sixteenth birthday! I'm still going to say it was awesome.;)

U2 at JKF stadium in Phila which is not there anymore. I was 15 I think.

You know, I am not sure.

I saw a few in a couple years span and i cannot for the life of me remember what was the first one.:confused3

I know I saw Styx, Korn, Limp Bizkit, and Hanson(Took 13yo Cousin) all within a few months. Id have to track down my stubbs. somewhere in a box in the garage.

Now i have really dated myself. :rotfl:

OMG- that was my 1st concert also. I was young. I went with my sister. I can still see myself there. What a flashback! And i think my 2nd one was the Kinks. or maybe Bob Seger? I went to so many concerts while I was young. We would have so much fun. I loved those days.

Lisa, my DS's first concert was Aerosmith! He was in 5th grade and I took him to that because he was crazy about them. I couldn't hear for a couple of hours after that concert!:lmao:

i was crazy about them too!

i would have loved that one.

My first concert was Devo when I was 13 - 8th grade.
