What's everyone having for Christmas dinner?

We are doing a beef fondue this year. We normally do that on Christmas eve, but my DH decided to mix it up.

So a tenderloin of beef for the fondue, several homemade dipping sauces (warm blue cheese, a chilled roquefort, creamy mustard, and a fluffy horseradish), homemade mac & cheese (DH's Mom's recipe, she passed away 2 years ago) Yorkshire puddings, salad, and Paula Deen's peppermint cake for dessert.

My mouth is watering just typing this. :)

Not sure. MIL is taking care of the cooking.
I am bringing the Stouffer's Apple & Cranberry, Cheesy Broccoli & Scallop Potato casserols.

Ham
Turkey
Stuffing
Cole Slaw
Sweet Potato Casserole
Green Bean Casserole
Broccoli Cheese Casserole
Rolls
Cake for baby Jesus

I'm making everything but the sweet potatoes...and DH wants to try to make some home made rolls...So I'll be buying some back-up rolls at the market today :lmao:

We are changing it up a bit for the first time in my life. My DDad was the chef in our family on my side, DMIL on DH's side. Both passed away. No one else wants to help, so I'm doing a smaller than we are used to dinner- and only inviting my mom!
Ham
Potato Casserole
Green Beans
Broccoli Rice Casserole
Rolls
Dessert? not sure yet

My brother and DH usually do a really nice dinner at my parents. This year is prime rib- I have no idea what else.

Well, our big family dinner is Christmas Eve... and we have left overs on Christmas Day... this allows ME to enjoy the time with my kiddos and DH...

WE are having
Ham
Mash Potatoes
Corn
Rolls
Strawberry Cheese Cake
Cheese/Crackers
Veggies/Dip

We do our big dinner on Christmas Eve and then have sandwiches on Christmas Day to let me have fun too!

Christmas Eve dinner is:
Ham
Garlic & Herb Roasted Potatoes
Corn Pudding
Corn & Broccoli Fiesta
Green Bean Casserole
Cranberry & Apple Casserole
Rolls
Chocolate Cream Pie
Some other pie - I need to go to Fresh Market and see what they have

Christmas Eve we have soups and stews- this year will be asparagus potato, corn cowder, and beef stew.

On Christmas Day we are doing an all day buffet: Chicken Kiev, Lumpia, Baked Ham, Vegi Tray, Chips and Shrimp Dip, Pretzels and Orange Dip, Pigs in a Blanket, cookies and chocolates

We go to the neighbors for Christmas Eve. This year the menu is potato soup, sloppy joes (the kids wanted these), chips and dip, cheetos, veggie tray, dessert.

Christmas dinner will be a stuffed pork tenderloin with raspberry jelly sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, corn casserole, crescent rolls, pumpkin pie or apple crisp.

We always do a breakfast for christmas morning in between presents and stockings.

We are doing dinner on Christmas Eve with the ILs. We are having turkey & stuffing (they're bringing this), and I'm making hash brown casserole and broccoli casserole.

We go to my parents' for Christmas Day, and we're having breakfast pizza and fruit salad for breakfast (we have it every year), and then for lunch we're having ham sandwiches (Mom bakes a ham) and Milky Way cake.

My MIL makes dinner. I just have to bring the sweet potatoes which I am cheating with this year.
Usually my MIL makes turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, broccoli salad, an oyster stuffing thing that tastes wonderful, and usually corn. She swears that my DH loves corn, but it is not his favorite. I think it is funny when we sit for dinner and she makes sure he gets it first.

Christmas dinner will just be DH and me this year and I'm putting a roast in the crockpot in the morning and we'll enjoy that with mashed potatoes, veggie, rolls, etc.

DMIL caters in Christmas Eve dinner and we go over there every year for dinner and to exchange gifts.

We are doing christmas eve dinner at my BIL and SIL. She is making prime rib -which is my dh's favorite-, potatoes, fancy veggies, rolls. She also buys a tuxedo cake -also dh's favorite- that we MUST take home with us when we leave. She's a diabetic so we always do the favor and take it home!:rotfl: I think Dh starts drooling when he sees it!!!

now for christmas day, we are doing my niece's house this year. her turn. So we are doing the whole breakfast stuff when we get there. bagels, eggs, muffins, danish, fruit salad, breads, beans. Then we will do presents and clean up and then do a lunch buffet. We are having turkey, ham, roast beef, soups, picky foods, my moms homemade mac and cheese (oh yummo) and all kinds of picky foods with all kinds of deserts. magic cookie bars, DIT's peanut butter blossoms (maybe), cheesecake..... it's all about the food with my family!

now that i've told you all this let me share with you.....my sis who would not do thanksgiving-remember that story- well this is her daughters house that we are going to. Guess just guess what she's bringing to this whole meal????

the rolls for sandwiches! oh please don't put yourself out or anything!!!!!
she a pistol that one!

My dh cooks beef Christmas eve and sides that are just dripping in butter. MiL cooks the ham and more buttery stuff Christmas day. I don't eat cow or pig, and I try to avoid all that saturated fat, so I tend to snack my way through the holiday. Everyone laughs when i prepare my own little meal, but it works for me.

DIT,
Could you post your corn pudding recipe? I have my gma's and wondering if she didn't 'accidently' leave something out. Mine is never as good as I remember hers!
PO3, my sister brings 4 grown kids and 2 grand children........and mashed potatoes!

PO3- Sorry, but it's been said before...she is a piece of work! Even to her own daughter's home? Wow...it's all I can say....just wow
