I'm not a fan of buttercream frosting. I love chocolate icing, but only the kind that my mom makes!! It's SOOOO good! I'm also a fan of caramel icing. In cakes, I LOVE chocolate cake with chocolate icing!!

Homemade is Angel food cake with frosting ==my dad always made the cake

Bakery is white cake with buttercream frosting

i have been know to just stop by the bakery and buy a birthday cake just cause i have a craving for it! they ask me -do you want to have anything written on it??- nope just for me! i have a complete love for birthday cake!white cake/white sugary frosting. OMG. what's better than that!!!!

I know I'm late but happy birthday PO3! And I love white cake with buttercream but my favorite is angel food without frosting!

Long live buttercream!!! Ooh yeah! Like a PP, I have bought a cake, too "just because!!!"
Once I had a high school friends name put on it - since it was her birthday.
Never mind that I hadn't seen her in 20 years!

My fav is chocolate cake & choco frosting.
I make a good caramel frosting (family recipe from scratch) for a yellow cake.
I also like orange pound cake with orange frosting.

If I didn't just finish a bag of M&M's, I'd be craving some cake!
