Our flight arrives at 5:10 AM on a Saturday (Hopefully). I used DME the last time I visited WDW, , but came in much latter in the day and was not trying to go to a park on the arrival day. I am not planning on a room being ready for us so I was looking to visit AK park in the morning. I was looking for thoughts on how long it will take for DME to get to Kidani village and if Lyft / Uber might be worth the price.

Thanks in Advance!

I would allow 20 minutes to exit the plane and get the main terminal. Then 5-8 minutes to walk to the bus. The DME bus run on demand, so you could be out and on your way before 6 am. the ride time depends on how many stops, but should be less than 45 minutes. So with the DME bus you should be at AK-K around 7 am. The parks don't open typically until 9 am so you will have some time to look around. The bus to AK park is about 15 minutes, it stops at Kidani first then a stop a Jambo House. Great resort, have a Magical trip.

With DME, you can check your luggage straight thru to your room.

You should be at park before rope drop but it could take longer than OP said. We have waiting on ME for up to an hour before the bus left so just be aware of that and make sure you plan to have stuff to do!

If I'm arriving very early or late, personally I spring for the Uber. The busses aren't as frequent since they're based on demand, though you can still get lucky and leave right away. In the scheme of the cost of a Disney vacation, a $35 Uber for a comfortable, private and direct ride to your resort is a drop in the bucket :)

I’m not sure where you’re from so I just wanted to check that this is an internal flight? If you’re coming from overseas you may need to add a couple of hours onto your timing for passport control.
