My 3 ds's(8,6,& 5) & I are staying at POP & AS on next trip. How do I get to the Int. Gat. from my resort? I would like to go to ws without having to walk through fw. I am not bringing a stroller(may rent on some days). Are there any other shortcuts to help decrease amount of walking? Thanks

The only other way in is the back entrance which Beach Club and Boardwalk resort guest take and you aren't suppose to park at those resort unless you are staying there or eating there.

There is no bus from your resort to those resorts either.

I don't think you really have any other choice but to enter from the front.

Could take one of the buses to TTC and transfer to a resort bus for BWI, BC, YC or Swan and Dolphin. It is a short boat ride or walk to International Gateway from any of those places. Other option would be to cab it to one of the above resorts-really not that far from POP but it is quite a distance from AS.

Walk through FW. You could probably get away with driving to BW and parking BUT the walk from where you'll park to the International Gateway wil be just as long as the walk through FW. Even if you take the boat you'll still have a long walk.

I don't suggest it but you could take a bus to the studios and then take the boat all the way to the International Gateway. You'll be trading off the walk through FW for a long boat ride.

All the posted ways are possible but will take LONGER than just walking through the front gates of Epcot, IMHO and not worth it.

Take the bus to MGM, get on the boat to Epcot, it will drop you off right before the gateway. I agree that it's quicker just to walk through FW but my way would save the legs of your 5 yr. old.

There are no resort buses to or from the TTC other than for WL/FW. What you suggest would have to be done at a park or DTD.

Yours is the best non-walking option yet Bill. You are right, the boat drops you off right in front of the Intl Gateway!

Thanks for the suggestions. We'll be there for 2 weeks so we won't be pressed for time. Bill's way seems to be the easiest route. I'll give it a try. Thanks

I agree with Bill's way. Bus to MGM and boat to International Gateway. The boat ride is about 25 to 30 minutes and relaxing. As mentioned before the TTC only serves two resorts the WL and FW and not other resorts.

I agree - it will save some walking, but will take a lot longer than just taking the bus to EPCOT and walking through FW.

The boat ride from MGM to EPCOT takes about 35 minutes - the boat will stop at the Swan/Dolphin dock, the BC/YC dock and the BW dock before the IG dock. I enjoy the ride (we often stay at the BWV) when I'm not in a hurry to get somewhere. Your kids will probably like it, too.

Best wishes-

Not to get into an argument, but I timed the boat trip from the dock at MGM to the dock at International gateway in December and it took 24 minutes. I'm sure the time varies according to crowds. Maybe with a nice paced walk you could save 5 to 10 minutes. I get plenty of walking in the parks and the boat ride is like an attraction to me.
