Howdy!

We will be going to Epcot World Showcase restaurants several evenings for dinner.

If we're staying at the All Star Music resort, and want to go to the International Gateway so we can enter THERE, rather than walking all the way through the main gate and Future World, how do we get there?

We are NOT driving -- depending on Disney transportation. Is there a bus to the Dolphin/Swan, which are connected in some way -- right???

Thanks for your feedback in advance.

Just 11 days to go!

There is no bus directly from the All-Stars to any of the Epcot area resorts. I would say that it will be quicker to just take the bus to Epcot, even though you'll have to walk all the way through to the World Showcase. You could take a bus from All-Stars to MK, AK, or DTD, then catch a bus from there to the Epcot area resorts (they share a bus - Boardwalk, Yacht/Beach Club, Swan & Dolphin). Or, you could take a bus to MGM, then a boat to one of the Epcot area resorts. If you are spending the day at one of the other parks (MK, AK, or MGM you could go from there, directly to one of the Epcot resorts.

Taking the buses from one resort to another can be very time consuming. Again, I would think it would be quicker to just take the bus to Epcot then walk through.

You could take a bus to the Boardwalk and then walk, but I'm not sure if the walk will really be that much shorter and I don't know how often Boardwalk busses run.

If it's very important for you to enter at the Int. Gateway, you could take a cab to Yacht Club.

Maybe things have changed, but the last I knew there was no bus from other resorts directly to the Boardwalk - I think the OP would have to take a bus from All-Stars to another park or DTD, and switch to a Boardwalk bus from there.

When we stay at the WL and go to the International Gateway we take the bus to MGM and boat to the Gateway. The boat ride takes 25 minutes from the MGM dock to the Gateway dock. I would think the walk from the bus stop at EPCOT and walking to WS would take that long. I get enough walking at WDW and don't need the walk through EPCOT to eat at WS. I like to sit outside on the boat and enjoy the trip.

and was told bus to MGM, and boat to gateway.

I have another ?? though. Does the gateway entrance open early. We have an 8:30 am breakfast at Norway.

Thanks

Yes the Gateway opens early or at least did. They let you in and guide you to your kocation.

The entrance at the International Gateway opens the same time as the main entrance to Epcot.
I agree with a previous post that there is no direct bus service from one resort to another. You will not find a bus at the All Stars to the Boardwalk.
You can take the bus to Epcot and walk through Future World or take the bus to the Studios and either take the boat to Epcot (International Gateway) or walk (20-30 minutes depending on how fast you walk).

To get to Norway from the I-Gateway, it might be a shorter walk from the front. I would bus to the front entrance and walk to Norway. By the time you bus to the Studios and boat to IG and walk, you will use 45 minutes or more. IMHO

You cannot take a bus from the All Stars to the Boardwalk directly.
