Getting to HS from Beach Club

we have an 8:30 breakfast at Cape May and then will go to Hollywood Studios for the day. Best way to get there from Beach Club?

You could walk. But it's not a quick walk.

We've always enjoyed taking the boat.

We have walked from the Beach Club to HS several times. There is a nice walk way. It is about a 20 minute walk. Otherwise you can catch the Friendship launch from the boat dock near the Yacht Club. From there the boat stops at the Swan/Dolphin and on to Hollywood Studios. It is about a 20 minute ride, once you board the boat. If the boat is just leaving as you approach it would be quicker to walk rather than wait for the next boat.

We have walked and taken the boat and in our opinion/experience, both ways are comparable as far as time. As Hopefully posted, the walk is about 20 minutes (could be a little shorter or longer, depending on your pace).

Even with small kids, I much prefer the walk. Then you don't have to wait for the boat and there's lots to see along the way. But, if the boat is right there, it's a nice ride.

We've done that walk several times and unless the boats are departing from the last stop, you'll beat the boats unless you walk very slowly.

We also have an 8:30am ADR at Cape May one morning during our September trip, followed by DHS afterwards. We were planning on taking the boat over. I would walk, but September is such a hot month, I am not sure we want to do that walk in that heat, so we'll most likely just take the boat.

If the boat is right there then I would take the boat and enjoy the ride. I would not wait for the boat. It is a short walk.

We tested it by a fluke last summer
We were headed back from HS and I was worn out and didn't want to walk so I grabbed a boat.
DGD talked DH in to walking so they left me at the dock and went off to walk.
They started out at the same time as I boarded a boat.
They were walking in the room at YC (so same dock as BC) as I was getting off the boat. So they beat me by 5 min or so.
And this was at the pace of a 6 yo, not race walking or anything like that.

I like using the ferry. I'd take a nice relaxing boat ride over more time on my feet any day!

We've walked from Boardwalk to Hollywood Studios whenever we've stayed there - in the early morning (trying to make rope drop) it is a pleasant walk in the summer - but later in the day it is full sun and it would be brutal on a hot sunny day. It's also a very pleasant walk after sunset.

Take the boat from the YC dock. It's an enjoyable ride over.

From the beach/yacht club you can walk over the bridge by the swan/dolphin and you will see a big archway that says Boardwalk, walk under that and follow the signs for Hollywood studios basically you walk past the boardwalk resort on the left with water on your right.
