I tried searching for my answer,
I will be coming from the Universal area on the night I have AD's for Hoop dee doo review and have read that I will need to boat over to Fort wilderness, and a great way is to go from the Magic Kingdom. my question is, as I will be taking an Uber from universal, I'm assuming they will drop me off at the TTC, do I take the boat from the TTC or do I monorail or boat to the MK then find the boat to Fort Wilderness? Is there a better way then MK, for people not touring that park that day? I just need to know how much time to plan on the travel time.

I think your two best options are:

1) Uber to Contemporary Resort, walk straight through the lobby to the boat dock and take the resort launch that does the CR-WL-FW loop. (This would be my preferred method, arriving by boat to FW is fun!)

2) Uber to FW. Uber has to drop you at the front of FW and then you'll need to take the internal FW bus back to where HDDR is.

Hope that makes sense.

You're welcome. I'm taking my niece to HDDR for her 18th birthday next month...it's a cute show with good food!
Y'all have fun!

When we went to HDDR last year we drove to parking lot and took an internal bus to the restaurant location. It was NOT a quick and easy process. It took forever for the right bus to come. If I were to do it again I would take the boat from MK.

Yes, this. There is zero reason to uber to TTC, get to MK and then get the boat. It will be a massive waste of time and you would have to go through park security.

Uber to FW or Uber to CR. I would personally pick uber to CR, walking out the boat dock and taking the boat over. The boat is really a lovely way to arrive at Ft. W and you will avoid the internal buses (I hate buses, LOL!).

We are staying at the AKL. We normally book HDDR for a MK day or we are on a monorail resort. If we take the bus over to the MK is there a bus there that goes to FW or do we have to take the boat? We normally just do the boat but the bus would work fine. If there is a bus from the MK does it drop off at the settlement area?

You can also Uber to WL. They have a boat to FW as well, same one the CR uses. You can also walk, if you are so inclined, between WL and FW.

Good idea- the boat usually goes CR>WL>FW, so if you took an Uber to WL, you could ride the boat from there and Pioneer Hall would be the next stop.

Awesome! Thanks! I do love me a boat ride. I'm very excited to see the show. It's seems right up my alley.
