Getting to Harambe for b-fast early

I am thinking of making an 8am breakfast res at Tusker House on the day we visit. I wonder though, will the bus be able to get us there on time and do they just let you in to the park seeing as it doesn't open until 9am?

The buses to the parks should start around 6:30 am. I would be at the Outpost bus stop no later than 7 am. When you get to AK, find the line for early breakfasts. I have read that they usually start letting guests with pre-park breakfasts around 7:45-7:50.

A few years ago we took the Wild Africa Trek at 8 AM We took a cab to AK and the parking lot was not yet open. We had to sit at the gate for a bit, but we did make our tour. I have read that this can still be a problem at AK.

Yeah we aren't towing a car down this time. I will probably end up renting one for a day or two but not that day. I really hope the bus can get us there!

do they just let you in to the park seeing as it doesn't open until 9am?

1) You can get into the park at 7:45am to go to Tusker.
2) They do watch to make sure you go to the restaurant and not try to go into the park areas before Rope Drop.
