Getting to DTD from OKW

I know there is a ferry that leaves OKW and goes to DTD. Where does it leave from?
Also, what buildings are the closest to DTD if we wanted to walk? We have never stayed at OKW before, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! We want easy access to DTD and aren't sure if the best way to do this is to be closer to the ferry or the walking path.

The walking path is just under a mile. The path joins OKW in the cul-de-sac near bldg 55.

The DVC Ferry dock is in the general area of main check-in and Olivia's restaurant. The closest bldgs to the dock are 11 to 14 and 23 to 26. There is also bus service to DtD.

The boat ride is nice, and worth taking. If you want to walk for the exercise, the path goes through SSR and the golf course before DTD. I'd book near the HH and the boat dock and take the boat. You're near the food, main pool, check-in/out, and other rec options then also. If you book near the start of the walking path, it's a looooong way to those things as the map above shows.
