I'm celebrating my 40th birthday breakfast with Mary Poppins and friends.
We're staying at Pop Century.

Would you recommend taking the bus to Magic Kingdom and taking the monorail, taking the bus to Epcot and the monorail to the GF, or any other method?

Thanks,

EXCITEMENT BUILDING!!! :goodvibes

Using WDW transportation I would take the bus to MK and then the monorail to GF, occasionally the driver will even take you directly to the hotel for an early breakfast if he/she can.

Honestly though, If it were my 40th birthday breakfast I would spend the $12ish plus tip to take a cab directly to the GF!!

Happy early Birthday :)

I would also vote to take a taxi to the GF - it means less stress and it requires less time. We took a taxi from the Boardwalk to Poly and it was about $15 with tip, so I would guess from Pop to GF it would be similar.

If you want to use Disney transportation, then I would opt to go to MK and take the monorail to GF. If you go to Epcot, then you have to transfer at the TTC before getting to the GF (Pop to Epcot, Epcot monorail to TTC, TTC monorail to GF), which means one additional place that you might have to wait.

i agree w/the bus to MK, monorail to GF as the planned route... however, we have been fortunate more than once to have a bus driver take us directly to our b'fast resort (Poly) just by telling him that's where we were headed... it's worth mentioning...

also, while i agree that the taxi thing would be a time savings, because you are staying at pop there are not always taxis waiting for customers (commonly found at the deluxe resorts) so you would likely have to call one and arrange for pick up...
