Getting to Artist Point?

We may try the new character meal on our next trip and if we come from MK we will just take the boat however if we come from our resort, AKL, how do we get there via bus?

Can't answer the bus question (though maybe you have to take a bus to MK then go to WL?), but if I was traveling resort to resort for a meal then I'd take either Uber or a Minnie Van. Much quicker.

You would have to go to a park first then hop on the Wilderness Lodge bus.

There are no buses directly from resort to resort. The boat ride from MK to WL is very nice and peaceful. I would plan to take that. Like others have said, you can easily take the bus to MK from your resort and head over to the boat.

If you are going to Wilderness Lodge from a resort, id drive or look into taking Uber or Lyft. Otherwise you have to take a bus to a park and then catch a different bus to the wilderness lodge. if possible, just go from the park you are going to be at for the day and go straight to your reservation. I rented a locker for $10 at HWS to store a change of shoes and some makeup to freshen up before dinner when we went a few weeks ago. I even packed a different shirt to change into (one make with non wrinkle material). The dinner with Snow White is great...have fun!

Are you looking to get there quickly using Disney transportation or a casual way?

If casual, bus to Epcot. Monorail to Contemporary (a monorail transfer is required), then walk to the boat dock and boat over to WL.

Sometimes we like to take the long route.

I calculated worst-case scenario for a friend a friend years ago, and never forgot. Apparently, I was pretty close!

Go to MK for the afternoon or evening - then boat to WL for dinner
Take a nice boat ride back to MK, then your transportation option to your resort/hotel destination

Since you 're staying at AKL just take the internal bus to AK. From there just hop on the WL bus. We often use this bus when visiting AK to eat at Sanaa. It s very quick. I do agree with others though - an uber or lyft ride is direct and easy! Maybe, go to dinner by bus transportation and uber back - just a thought!
