getting to AKL ffor a PS?

Hi, I have a question on how to get from CSR to Animal Kingdom and back for a dinner at Boma. WE're staying during Christmas week and on the day we go to Animal Kingdom, I wan't to have dinner at Boma, if we catch a bus from the park how does that work, how long would it take? thanks for any input!..........goof

To go from Resort to Resort, you'll need to use a theme park for a transfer point.

If Animal Kingdom is still open, use that one. However, if it has closed, then use the Disney-MGM Studios.

When you check in at the hotel one of the many pieces of paper you will receive is a transportation map. If you don't get one, be sure to ask!

Are you saying you are leaving the AK and going directly to Boma for dinner? If so, just take the bus from the AK to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Park to hotel, no transfer needed.

When you are heading back to your hotel, you will need to do a transfer. From the AK, hop on the bus to a park that is still open(MGM is closest) or Downtown Disney. When you get off, look around for CSR's bus stop. Hop on CSR's bus.. that easy!

How long it will take is a hard question. It all depends on how long you have to wait for the bus. But the park and the hotel are close together, so I would think 20 min max plus waiting time. One good thing.. the AKL is a wonderful place to wander around if you are early. Watch the animals or have a seat in a rocking chair and relax!

We always take a cab when we want to go from one resort to another. Transferring buses can be a real pain. The bell staff is always great about getting a cab for you, and it never costs that much.
