Hey guys,

Weighing up the options between disney transport and renting a car. One things I am worried about is getting the bus in time in the morning to make our character breakfast reservations.

We have one booked at Tusker House for 8am, will there be a bus from All Stars Music to get us there in time?

Thanks :thumbsup2

If you are worried about just that breakfast- take a cab. It is usually less than $15 for most places in WDW. A lot cheaper than renting a car. We have done this to get to Boma in the past.

Do not take a cab to Animal Kingdom that early in the morning. You could get hung up at the "toll booth" which might not open that early.

(A cab is okay for going to Animal Kingdom Lodge e.g. Jiko's.)

The policy is that if you are delayed due to difficulties at the toll booth, the Animal Kingdom restaurants should seat you as if your reservation was at your arrival time.

True. Sometimes the parking lot opens early, sometimes it doesn't. If your ADR is before the park opens you should take the bus.

For an 8am ADR at Tusker, you need to be at the AK bus stop when the buses first start running. They start at 6:30, and run less frequently than the regular park buses do, so if you miss a bus, you may face an up to 30 min wait for the next one. So....you need to be at the front gates at AK by 7:30 for an 8am ADR. It takes a fair amount of time to walk to Tusker House, and you should be at the podium about 10 mins prior to your ADR time. So, get an early start...be out at the bus stop for that first bus. Yeah, you'll be early if you get on the first bus, but then you can amble on over to Tusker House and enjoy the sights as you walk vs rushing over and worrying about being late.
