Getting tired of "Crowds in X?" threads? Then don't look in here! :P

First off i'd like to say hello to everyone on the boards, especially in the universal section of this great website. I've been lurking on here reading threads and trip reports for a few months now so I decided I may as well register!

I'm coming over to FL in September for a few weeks and will be heading to Universal for a couple of days towards the end of my trip. (Been reading all the threads on here to build my excitement ) So I guess my main question is:

What does everyone think the crowd level will be like middle/late September? Not set on a weekday or weekend, could be either

Staying onsite, will it still be necessary to get to HP first thing in the morning to get instant access to the HP area and bearable queue times?

Middle to late September is usually a great time to visit. The summer crowds are gone by that time. Saturdays can be a little busy especially at IoA but other than that, I think you will be fine. Halloween Horror Nights will be going on Sept. 24, 25, and 30th so avoid Universal Studios late in the afternoon on those dates. Glad you joined the forums! Welcome!
