Well, I accidently put this in the wrong area. Let me try this question again.

Can someone from the area give me info, if they have it, on getting tickets from the shows. I haven't any idea which ones are taped in the area (is it in Burbank?), or how you get tickets. How far is the tapings form DL? Thanks so much. (we'll be there Dec 3 - 10).

For most shows you can send in a requests and they will mail you tickets. We have done both Jay Leno, The Price is Right and Dr Phil. If you go to their websites you can get the addresses to mail in for the tickets. Also if you go to Universal Studios you can sign up there and they will drive you and take you back to Universal. Most of these you can't bring children to.

We just saw the George Lopez show being taped last week, & printed the tickets off the website: http://www.tvtickets.com/

My kids had a blast. It was the first time I had taken them to see a taping, and they love George Lopez. Constance Marie did the "washing machine" for us, and they gave away free t-shirts and autographed scripts. They also gave everyone in the audience (about 200) free bottled water w/his picture on the bottles & free pizza. They sold his book, cds, & dvds, and all the proceeds went to Katrina. The warm-up guy had us in stitches between takes -- I highly recommend going to a taping.

This is awesome. I can't wait til 30 days in advance. Hubby wants George Lopez and King of Queens. I want Fran :)

MaryJo, how did your kids get into see George Lopez? I have a 14yr old who looks 18 (she is 5'8" LOL) but from what I read the only show we can see is Reba, the rest are like 18 and over. We would love to see George Lopez or the 70's show.

The minimum age for George Lopez is 16, and my dd is 16. My ds is 17, though he looks old enough to drink legally. I didn't want to chance that they would turn us away, so I've waited until she's old enough.

I think for the time being, you have to find a show that will allow 14 year olds in, or get to know someone who works on the show.

Looks like we will have to wait a few years :guilty: bummer, that sounded like such a good time.
