Getting thru baggage check at DLR?

On Thursday I am planning to take my DD (1) back to our hotel (PP) for a nap and then back to DL at 1:30/2:00 for the Birthday Party at the Plaza Inn.

I am going to assume that mid day is probably not very hectic getting thru security but just wondering if I should plan to leave the hotel earlier than 1pm in order to make it to the park on time?

It all depends on when a tram arrives.. but it is usaully no more than 5 minutes..

Na you will be fine. I've gone back to my hotel many times before mid day and it was less then a 5 min. wait for security check.
