Getting the right CM to change my dates for free dining!!

How many people had to play the call until you get the right CM game today?
I did. It took three times, but the third was the charm. Changed my dates from the 13th - 21st to the 20th-28th with Free Dining!! Anyone else out there and how many times did it take you???

didn't have to change my dates, just called waited for 40 minutes got a nice CM that allowed me to just add free dining. We had dining but now its free...YIPEE...

Well the two previous CMs told me that I could'nt extend Free Dining past the 20th. So I just hung up, called again, hung up, called again, hung up, called again and presto!!!

Do you past September 20? My DBF and I have a trip already booked for September 20-26 and I was wondering if we would possibly be able to take advantage of free dining...I am a Disney Visa card holder.

From everything I've read, you have 10 days past the last day of the offer as long as you check in by that date. So, you should be able to use FD.

I booked online and have already started making payments on the trip...does that matter? I've never been there for free dining before so I'm not exactly sure what to do at this point.

You realllllllllllllllllllly need to be calling Disney!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get on the free dining train!! Call as many times as you need to until you get a CM that will set it up for you for these dates!! You may or maynot have to switch resorts, but its defanitly worth looking into!!!!

We got the "no past the 20th line too". Booked something anyway because we were flexible. Now I'm mad that I was misinformed. Calling back now to get what we orginally wanted. Thanks for the heads up.

I was told "I'm sorry, you must complete the free dining by the 20th". I said, "Are you sure? Do you think you could maybe check for me? I am a member of the disboard and there are others posting that their CM could extend the dates." She said, "I was told this morning in a meeting that it couldn't be extended, but if you think there's a chance, I could definitely check for you." She put me on hold and came back and said, "I'm sorry, it's my misunderstanding and that won't be a problem". I booked for September 19th-23rd with free dining. I just asked very nicely and didn't just demand to speak to a supervisor or anything and she worked with me - she was very sweet!

Now see, this really ticks me.My sil tried 4 times to book from the 20th-27th and each time a different cm told her NO, it ends on the 20th.She even just emailed me to say she tried again this am and was told NO! I really am starting to get annoyed.Everyone else seems to be able to do this.i told her to try again later. Disney really needs to get on the same page, if they choose to enforce the end of the promo , then it should be enforced for everyone and vice versa. She kept her ressie at As sports, and was willing to switch anywhere for the free dining

I'm sorry! You are right - they do need to get on the same page. Tell her to keep trying and keep asking to see if the CM can just check. I don't know what the reasoning is, but it certainly isn't fair. I know my CM wasn't going to give it to me until I gently pushed a bit, so maybe she needs the right CM? ~~*Pixie Dust*~~

My SIL has now tried 7 times to get free dining from 9/20-9/27 and was told NO.The last cm told her that he does not know why others have allowed it to go thru, But it is definitely NOT supposed to be allowed past 9/20.My sil asked why she knows so many people that got it etc..He basically told her too bad and hung up. I am tired of Disneys CRAP! I went thru hell booking my trip with the discount etc, and now my SIL...

FYI, if you book online it definitely allows you to go beyond the 20th, so I think the CMs saying "no" aren't up to date on the rules...
