Is there a way to do a room only reservation and add the dinning plan later? I would be wlling to buy 1 ticket , but not 2.
I know a few years ago, they told me it was possible if I booked the room a special way. Did chat today online with disney and they told me no.

Thanks

I booked a package: room, tickets and dining plan. When we got close to our trip, my husband got a good deal on tickets through his work. We were able to remove the tickets from the package and replace with the new ones while keeping the dining plan. We saved about $150!

You can book room only plus the dining plan, but you can't do it online. You need to call in to be able to do it. It is called a ticketless package and follows all the rules for payment/cancellation as a package booked with tickets.

It is ablsolutely NOT only for military or passholders. I have booked it before and I am not a pass holder or in the military. ANYONE can purchase a room and dining package. As Bree stated above, you can not book online and have to call to book a ticketless package. There is a two night minimum.

Well, this is not what I was told FROM Disney - that it is ONLY for Military and Passholders

Thank you for everyone's response

I went ahead and called and this is avaiable for a 2 night stay or above. Package cancelations policies apply.
.The CM also told me some thing very interesting. I would be visiting the last day of Food and wine. You can exchange 1 counter service for 3 snacks to be used the booths.

It's called a "ticketless" package. Can be booked by anyone, just needs to be called in.

Yup. You can book a room only package (no tickets or dining!). Can't see why anyone would do it, I did it to take advantage of a discount that runDisney was offering a few years back, but otherwise there is no real benefit to doing so.

Be careful, my understanding is that all 3 snack credits would need to be used at once. So it's not like you trade in 1 CS and get 3 Snacks added to your account that you can use at whim.
