OK this might be confusing, but I know this is the best place to ask:thumbsup2 . If I wanted to plan a trip for end of Aug. 08, what discount would be most beneficial to me? For example, if I were looking to stay at the WL would upgrading my current 7dayMYW pass to an Annual pass provide me with a better discount then say waiting for a "pin code" for 40% off ? Are these codes common? When do these codes typically come out? Or are they very random? I'm sure many of you can relate, I am just trying to maximize my chances of getting the most for the least:lmao: Thanks for any help or advice!:wizard:

If you havent gotten a code yet, i wouldnt count on getting them. As for Aug 08, you wouldnt hear anything till like a year from now. Its a little soon to want a code for 1.5years away.

Actually I just realized that upgrading my current MYW tickets won't work because more than a year will have passed until Aug. of 08. But the question still stands, IS there a better discount advantage with the AP or waiting for a code? What are the typical percentages off for annual passholders? Thanks again!:)

I actually have gotten a code before but never took advantage of it. I realize that Aug of 08 is far away, I am just trying to gather some information.:) Thank you!

you would really have to wait until codes are released and compare them. They vary from time to time. We stay usually 7-8 nights and even last year when all we got was the aaa discount we didnt find it beneficial to get an annual pass .... if we had been going for more than that one trip within 12 months it may have done us good but not when looking at just one trip.

aaa discount got us 15% off which amounted to about 20 per night. The ap discount at the time was something like either 25 or 40 per night. Lets say it was 40 so it would have saved me an extra 20 per night over 7 nights that would amount to a savings over aaa of 140 well a little more with taxes so lets say 160. well the ticket I buy costs me about 223 where an ap would cost me 462 difference of 243 which is significantly more than the extra savings.... now obviously over 2 trips that makes sense but it doesnt save me anything for one trip and keeps me from being able to get dining.

Other factors come into play like time of year and which resort you are staying at and what general public codes come out...like free dining or pin codes like the 40% a lot of us got. But you really cant figure that until you see what codes actually come.
