..getting superrrr pist!!!

In my experience, when you need Disney the most, they seem impossible to reach.

My advice?

Keep bothering them until you get an answer, there will come a point where they will be sick of hearing from you and they will answer. You may become that "annoying bride" but, at least then you get a response! ;)

I agree with Emily above-- be persistant. A lot of us didnt get our budget until 1-2 weeks before the wedding-- which is very rediculous. Its hard to get in touch with them... and keep in mind how many people they deal with daily (all feeling they are most important)-- but then I look at it from a sales perspective--- you are paying them to pay attention to you! Be pushy, be persistant-- sometimes its the only way to get answers:thumbsup2 . Have you tried calling today? Maybe they might be working a wedding or physically with a client? GL:thumbsup2

yes I am having a similiar problem with the same wp...it has been 2 months since our ps and still no BEO:confused3 no advice to offer but they have not contacted me at all and we have emailed and called. just wanted to let you know you are not the only one. Hopefully she is just super busy- maybe out on planning sessions? fingers crossed it works out for the both of us!

I can't be of that much help, as I haven't had my planning session yet. But they must stretch people thin with the number of weddings because Emily is also my planner's assistant( I don't have Claudine).

I would be upset as well. Just try to stay persistent with them.. They have so many weddings to plan that they are probably so busy... Good Luck:surfweb:

I completely understand how you feel. I believe when I felt this way I posted a threat entitled "Seriously, I can't handle this..."

The one thing that I learned from everything was...don't worry about being "nice" it doesn't get you ANYWHERE. I mean, you don't have to be a jerk...but just tell them exactly what you want them to do...don't ask. I didn't get my BEO until 10 business days before my wedding and it came in the middle of my exams. (Literally -- I was writing a tax home tax exam) It was totally unnecessary stress because they were supposed to get that to me 45 days out. I remember calling my mom crying because I was just so stressed and all I wanted was for my WC to get back to me.

When it comes to DFTW the squeaky wheel totally gets the grease.

I agree! Be persistent! I had Emily as my EM's assistant and then she got transferred. My experience was like yours, she was not good about returning calls, e-mails, etc.
If worse comes to worse and you can't get ahold of them push zero and explain your situation to one of the other assistants that answers- I got a lot of returned phone calls that way.
Hope things get better.

In my experience I would suggest scheduling an appointment to discuss the new BEO and other concerns/ changes. Book this through Emily. The WP are busy with rehearsals, weddings, and helping with other WP weddings and then they do all of those planning sessions as well. I agree with the frustration of not being able to get to people and I felt that pain as well. The best advice I was given is what I gave to you. Make sure you schedule time where they focus on you!! It is worth it trust me!! I found that it was much easier to do that than to get emails back. In addition, the closer you get to your event the better they become at communication.

I'm in a similar situation. I have Meri, and she's been absolutely wonderful, but we were told at our planning session, that we would get an estimated budget within 4 weeks. When i emailed her about it, she said she should have it for me by 6 weeks like we were promised. I didn't want to argue about it, but its been almost 6 weeks and nothing. I got my floral proposal on saturday, so i'm hoping any time now.

Ok now I am nervous. Why don't they tell you how much everything is going to cost like a couple months in advance?
