I've noticed people have been posting about getting stuck on rides and from what I've read they haven't been happy about it.

I'm the opposite! I like when I'm stuck on a Disney ride. I've been stuck on Peter Pan and Haunted Mansion and I loved the extra time I had to soak in the details! However, if I got stuck on IASM, after 15 minutes or so I MIGHT not be that happy. But I kind of think it's neat...

JMHO.

Ok i kinda like getting stuck for the same reason mentioned above except for this one time me and DH rode Test Track and the ride stopped us in the cold chamber for 15 minutes. I also want to say this was when the ride was new and the chamber was a lot colder than some of the more recent times we've ridden it. I though it was fun but my cold sensitive husband wasn't happy to be stuck as he also had to put up with dripping cold water. I'm glad to say we still enjoyed the ride and keep coming back for more. We can't wait until Xmas to do it all again.

I agree Anne - getting stuck is kinda cool as long as it doesn't last too long. Most of what I've experienced are the wheelchair stops, especially on the continuous loaders such as HM and Peter Pan too. I was stuck on Splash Mountain where you go outside toward the top when you are still facing the park (not the backside of the attraction) and I got to see Spectro. It was a great view. I've never had to exit the attraction through the back doors. I would really like getting to see the behind the scenes.

We got stuck on HM a few trips ago. It was actually pretty cool :) They eventually turned on the lights and we had to walk out. Very different with the lights on.

I don't mind being stuck generally speaking--it is neat to get to soak up the details. I have been stuck on Dreamflight back when it was still around. It was in that room with the big video screens, and it was kinda freaky. :teeth: I've always wanted to be on the TTA when Space Mountain's lights are on.

I was stuck on Pirates of the Carribean for about 10 minutes, all the lights were out, it was pitch black. When the lights came on, all these roaches/waterbugs took off running for cover.

I personally got stuck on two rides. Winnie the pooh wasn't bad at all I enjoyed it really but Pirates of the Carribbian was really bad. It wasn't bad the first five minutes but when you have three crying kids crying for 45 minutes then it's just terrible. Not only was it dark, when the castmember came in to work around they turned the light on, they turned off the light when they left when asked why they couldn't leave it on they said they just couldn't. They also left the pirate talking until someone goes "does someone have a gun to shoot that thing."  :(

Catsrule...NO!!! Were there really roaches and waterbugs???

45 minutes stuck anywhere is tough, I think I would have cries being stuck that long.

Does test track have a hot room? Imagine the poor people stuck in that, if there is one. Did they turn the cold/air off?

Never been stuck on a ride, but have been on tomorrowland transit authority when space mountain was down for repairs and the lights were on. A really strange site. Couldn't believe it was the same ride! I would really like to get stuck on spaceship earth, dinosaur, peter pans flight, haunted mansion, pirates, or maelstrom, have the lights go on, and have to walk out. :p

All DL experiences:

Being walked off BTM and Splash (separate trips) have been among my favorite Disney memories. My spookiest Pirates delay was actually very brief. There had been a significant earth quake in LA that morning, so the momentary hold-up was a bit unsettling.

Wow thats pretty nasty.... i dont think i want to see that... what happens if you get stuck in the cannon fight scene where there isnt any walk ways????

My funniest "stuck" story was several years ago on the CoP.....we must have listened to Uncle Orville saying "no privacy at all around this place!" at least 7 times!!!! By the time we started moving, everyone was reciting the narration along with the characters!!!! It was like being at the Rocky Horror Picture Show...audience participation was a MUST (and made the wait not only bearable, but ENJOYABLE)!!!!:D

There are some rides that I wouldn't want to be stuck on but my favorite ones that I have gotten stuck on was Buzz lightyear. It was great to be stuck infront of the wall with the Z's. Another time I was doing the People Mover and as we were going thru Space Mt. we saw that the people were stuck and saw the place with the lights on. It was soo neat to get to see what was going on in there and not be the stuckies.

We were delayed on Buzz so I got alot of points on that trip through. I had to walk out from Test Track just right before you go outside. I wasn't stuck but a big storm came up so they shut the track down. I have been through delays in HM but nothing for long. Other than that nothing has went arye.

Well, we were on TTA when the ride stopped inside Space Mountain. The lights came on and it was so cool! I swore I was never going to ride that ride because it looked like the people were going to hit their heads on the track above them. Then the ride started to move and the lights went out again. We got outside in a rather nice day and sat there for about fifteen-twenty minutes at least listening to "Please remain seated......" then all of a sudden a person came on and said "Please remain seated as the ride may or may not be starting soon." It was great. We ended up walking off of it but turned around and got right back on as it was already back up. We loved it!!!

I personally got stuck on Test Track about three times in the same ride, at least. My baby brother and I were getting on the ride and the line stopped moving and they said that they were having problems with the cars. I told him we would wait no more then 15 minutes. Well, almost instantly the line started moving again. WOOHOO! Then it stopped while we were walking through the line after the preshow. Then went straight from the announcemnet about the ride being down right into the one about it now working. There wasn't even a stop in between. Then it stopped for about five minutes while we were waiting for gates to open so we could get into our car. I then told him we were going to wait until Satan got to play with snow balls because we were so close. :Pinkbounc Well, we get on the ride and were having a black till we get to when the Mack truck comes out at you. (I happened to be in the front seat on that side.) The ride stopped at that point and the truck came out about six times before we started to move again. (I can now count that part off.) Then we started outside on the track and we ended up going around the track flawlessly. Then we were getting to go back into the building and slammed into the car ahead of us. We sat outside the building for about 20 minutes. It was a very pretty sky view since we were riding at night. We ended up walking off the ride one car from the dock where you get off. I have had no problem with being stuck since they were both on there own trips and neither one was really bad....except for that stupid Mack truck. I was ready to beep it! :jester:

I got stuck on Delta Dreamflight in that tunnel where the walls spin around you, for about 5 minutes. I thought it was fun.
