We are cruising on Saturday and are planning on getting 2 strollers on board. I called to reserve them but they said they are in limited numbers so they cannot be reserved. ( I also reserved a pack and play and a bed rail for our 2 dd's. ) Has anyone gotten on board and wanted a stroller and was unable to get one? Does anyone know how many strollers DCL has available? We are trying to decide if we should bring one of our own or not. With the two kids, two carseats and the luggage also bringing a stroller seems to be alot!
We used our stroller all the time on our first cruise so I am sure we will need atleast 1.

I've never heard of anyone not getting a stroller on board. I got one the second day of our three day cruise in July. The one I got, however, was very, very used and dirty. Maybe this is because I waited, but I did see others on board that were in similar condition.

You might want to consider bringing an umbrella stroller. I realize you have a lot to bring, but they are much easier to use on board. We brought one umbrella stroller and then got one regular Graco stroller on board. We used the umbrella stroller a lot, but used the Graco only at dinner, for DD to sleep in.

How were you able to reserve the pack-in-play and bed rail in advance? Just curious?

We brought our umbrella strollers for our 2 grands as they were needed at the airport. However, once we boarded and saw there were plenty of strollers onboard we got 2 of Disneys. They were much larger w/reclining seat for napping, big storage area, bottle holder, huge canopy. Luckily, ours did not 'look' dirty. Needless to say, you would definitely wipe it down with your lysol wipies or sanitary spray. They were $100 refundable deposit.

As for the rails and play pack, IMO I would not bring them. We reserved them thru our TA and also called Disney to confirm. They do furnish sheets and blankies, but we decide to bring our own. Hope this has been helpful to you.

I called DCL directly and spoke to someone with the reservation modification and she reserved the pack n play and the bedrail. My dh's uncle who is also going to be on the cruise spoke with someone at DCL who said he would also have a stroller in his room when he got there. The person I spoke with was not able to do thisand that is fine as long as we can get two when we get there.

The strollers that you can use are quite nice as someone else posted--roomy with reclining seats, large baskets, etc.

Since they are limited you cannot reserve them in advance, but you just go to guest services and they will take care of getting you one. I have not heard of anyone not being able to get one--but I suppose it is certianly possible.

I agree with possibly taking an umbrella stroller with you--that way you at least have something to use in the off chance that all of the other strollers are being used.

The bed rails and crib will be in your room when you get there as long as you request them in advance. As will a highchair or booster seat at your dinner seating.

I had called in advance for bedrails yet when we go t on the ship tehre were none there...I simply asked my stateroom host for the bedrails and a diaper genie and within minutes he was back with them.
