Getting Rid of the Burnt Popcorn Smell?

I burned popcorn over a week ago in the microwave - and it still stinks!! Esp. when I turn the oven on? Any ideas on how to get rid of it once and for all?

Try putting in a bowl of water that has vinegar in it. 1 part vinegar 2 parts vinegar. Then turn on oven for 1-2 minutes.That should take a any strong odors out.

oh you brought back memories of my old work place! the smell of burnt microwave popcorn wafting down the halls after a while (and several hundred bags of burnt popcorn) you could'nt open a microwave that did'nt have the smell permanantly attached to it.

I've heard of boiling vinegar to remove smells. Or put some cut up oranges or lemons in a bowl of water and boil that for a minute or two.
