Getting ready to see the MOUSE!!!

Week one down. Weighed today I lost 5lbs! I am excited... 5lbs less I have to carry around :cool1:

I weighed in yesterday at the gym. I am doing a excercise program there and they weigh, measure and do your body fat. I wasn't to thrilled on getting weighed in. I just didn't feel like I have lost anything. But, I did lose 4lbs. I lost an inch on my bust, waist and hips. I also lost 2% body fat. I was really happy with that. I didn't lose much on the scale but I did lose inches. Oh, by the way, OP, I did weigh 300+lbs when I gave birth to my 2nd child! :sad2: That is when I saw the light! :yay: Off to the gym on that note!!! :cheer2:

Way to go!!! :cheer2: I know all to well about the pregnancy and 300+ lbs! We can do this!

Wow great progress everyone! Yes if I would gain the 80 pounds I have in the past two pregnancies at this weight I would be pushin 300 by birth. So yeah I am happy that is not the case, although after I lose some wieght I would like to try for a 3rd. I walked this morning but only about 20 mins and I have no idea how far because my family thinks its unsafe for me to walk down the dirt road I had yesterday, so I chose to walk in the sub until I had to run home to use the bathroom, and get ready for work. I am supposed to work out with some friends tonight, but am feeling out of it, if I don't do that I will hit the pool at my parents. Eating has been a lot better the past two days, but I'm going to wiegh in next Tuesday with hopefully some good news. Yay to everyone busting thier butts, to lose them!

3 days til the next wiegh in, eating has been not great, excersise not great, but my friend did say I look like I lost some weight. Which inspired me to really be good and work hard in the next three days before weigh in.. I really want to move my slider that is tracking my progress.. just a little bit right? After much debate we decided I have done better than before I had started trying so every little bit helps. I might not make the 40 before Disney but anything less will be great.

Don't give up! Like you said, anything less is better! It's great to hear from your friends that you look different or they can tell you are losing weight. It makes you feel better about yourself and keeps you motivated! You have 3 days until you weigh in, try to keep that in mind when you are looking around the pantry! ;)

Hmm wish I would of read that before I finished off the last of the Vanilla wafer cookies in the cupboard :(

One vanilla wafer won't kill you, it's when you hold off and hold off and are dying for it and then end up eating the whole package that does you in! ;) If I get a bad enough craving I usually give in and have a smidge rather than try to find a substitute because for me nothing else will do.

Anyhow, I am finally ready to jump on in. My 3 parties the 1st week of August are over, dh is in Vegas for a week (working - bah!), and kids will be off to camp again tomorrow so I can meal plan and cook up some decent meals rather than eat on the fly. I just need to weigh in and measure so I have something to go by. 6WBMO, here I come!

Who worked out today? Did anyone go on a walk? a run? Did you take an excercise class? Last night my friend talked me into going for a run this morning. Only 7 1/2 miles! Only? I think I had too much wine because I said sure, sounds like fun! Well, we went and we picked the hottest day of the year! It's almost 100 degrees and we were down on the boardwalk running! Talk about insane! :confused3 But we did it! I was very proud of myself! I couldn't believe I ran that much in the heat! She is trying to talk me into running the half marathon Labor Day weekend. I'm not sure I am ready for all of that! :)

Welcome, and thanks for the encouragement. I didn't run or excercise today but I worked about a 9 hour shift waitressing, does that count? I am exhausted so hopefully it does. I wieghed in today because I just couldn't wait, I figured I wouldn't have lost with the way I have been eating.. but I am down two more pounds.. for a total of 7 pounds lost in 3 weeks. So I am pretty happy with that. Just realllyyyy tired.

I wieghed in on Tuesday because I figured it was the day I really wanted to weigh in anyways, and the scale told me I lost ten pounds! I'm going to believe her because she really motivated me to control my snacking and be active the past two days. So I changed my goal for Disney from the 60, to 35 that is why my goal is now 20 percent complete. Yay!

:cool1: YEAH!!!!! :cool1: Watching those numbers drop is an amazing motivator!

I am on day 4 and look at the scale every day (sooo horrible!!!) but am down 3lbs so far... 17 more to go!

Congrats on your weight loss! That's wonderful! I was looking at the calender this morning and figured I have about 5 weeks until our WDW vacation. I would like to lose 10 pounds by then. 2 pounds a week. Not too bad! I think I can do it! :cheer2: I have been good in the workout dept. I need to stop snacking! It's the 3:00 snack that kills me!

I'm slightly irritated by the fact that my husband who is not even trying, but eating better by a smidge has lost just as much as me, who has deprived myself of sweets, and has been doing the excercise. :P

Oh I hate it when that happens. I think it's just easier for men to lose.

Well week 1 for me is over, 4lbs down, 3 inches lost. Not spectacular but not bad either. AF visited as well which may have slowed me down a little towards the end of this week. Onto week two!

Congrats! on the loss of weight and inches. I would usually give up by now but I'm just going to keep on going, just makes me mad!

Take it easy and lose slowly. I've just gotten back to working out again (I had to stop because my gallbladder was hurting so badly I couldnt do it) after 2months off. I lost 45lbs from Oct to July. I was still losing in July when I wasnt working out because I was eating better. Just take it slowly. My goal is 10lbs b4 I leave. My ultimate goal is another 25lbs. DH and I will be working together when he gets back too.

A way I found to help out w/ the tracking is every time you drop 5lbs take a picture of yourself and keep a "picture journal" of your weight loss.

this is my latest one. I've also started doing Yoga since then to help tone and RELAX...I've been stressed lately and doing stress eating...LOL. Trust me yoga helps w/ the eating.

WoW DLWatson, you look great! Good job, great work.. inspiring. Weigh in tomorrow the last two days have been off the chart with eating.. boo! Good idea about the five pound picture, because looking at myself sometimes I really can't see a difference. Thats all I have to say for today, I guess its been a stressy week for me too.

disappointing I am up 2 pounds, blahhh I guess bad days should come more at the beginning of the week rather than the end. Maybe I should strictly stick to every two week weigh ins.. I dunno. Feeling bad.

I made lifetime member with Weight Watchers 1 month before getting pregnant. Once I got pregnant I was able to put my lifetime status on hold until 6 weeks postpartum. Fast forward 55 pounds :scared1: and baby later, I was ready to reinstate my WW membership. Lifetime members are free, as long as they maintain their goal weight. After a baby, they give you 3 months free to lose what you've gained and if you don't you have to start paying again until you lose it all. This was discouraging. I only lost 12 lbs after delivery (baby 7lbs 4oz :confused3), and so had to lose 42 pounds to get to where I was before pregnancy, and 27 pounds to my WW goal. I re-started on July 13th, and am happy to report that I have lost 14 pounds already . I have been exercising and following the WW plan. In fact, today I put on pants that were 2 sizes smaller than on 7/13 :woohoo:.

OP - It is definately possible with motivation, and I can't think of a better motivator than a trip to Disney. I will be taking this journey with you. Ironically enough, my 3 months is up the day before we leave for Disney so I have a double motivator! Good luck, I will be following up, as I hope you do also!

Thanks for the cheer up, I'm just stressed. I won't give up, I will move on.. I will lose the wieght. Thanks.
