Im booking FP+ for the first time soon and wanted to get the advice of the pros on if this looks like a good plan?

Day 1 - AK: Enter the park at 9am (Monday Oct 19th)
Kilimanjaro Safari with no FP+
Kali River Rapids FP+ 10:00-11:00
Everest FP+ 11:00-12:00
Tusker House early lunch at 11:45
Dinosaur FP+ 12:00-1:00
Then catch Its Tough To Be A Bug
Leave park by 4:30 to hop to MK
BoG dinner at 6:30pm
MSEP at 8pm
WISHES at 9pm

**I really hate the thought of having to walk from Everest all the way back to Tusker House to eat. Would touring this park backwards be better?

Day 2 - EP: Enter the park at 9am (Tuesday Oct 20th)
SOARIN with no FP
Living With the Land with no FP
Mission Space Orange with FP+ 9:30-10:30 (Tier 2 attraction)
Test Track with FP+ 10:30-11:30 (Tier 1 attraction)
The Seas with Nemo and Friends with FP+ 11:30-12:30 (Tier 2 attraction)
Head to World Showcase to EAAAAAAAAAAAAAT all day @ IFWF.
Maybe catch Ellens Energy Adventure or EO on the way out that evening, wait times permitting.

Day 3 - Beach Day

Day 4 - Enter the park at 8:10am (9am open day)
BoG breakfast @ 8:25am (swore I'd never do the breakfast but here I go)
7DMT 9am No FP
Space Mountain FP+ 9:30-10:30
Buzz Lightyear no FP
Splash Mountain FP+ 11:30-12:30
BTMRR FP+ 12:30-1:30

Additional things to ride: Haunted Mansion, POTC, Jungle Cruise, PhilharMagic. We do not care about Meet and Greets. We will be leaving MK in the early afternoon and returning at 4pm for MNSSHP where I'm hoping we can ride the remaining rides mentioned above during that time (or maybe get evening FP+ before the party starts after we've used our 3rd one).

Day 5 - Going to the Dark Side.

Any help or advice is appreciated.

I do Epcot differently. I get a FP for Soarin' and then do Test Track at rope drop. The single rider line is almost non existent at 9 am but Soarin' will be at least 60 minutes by the time you get there.

Thank you for the tip.

I personally will not be riding SOARIN but was going to get FP for the other 2 adults with me. One of them lives in CA and probably could care less about a ride showing CA. He nor the other person have ever been to DW before. Im gonna go back and look at EPCOTS park map and see how I can change it up by doing TT first. I am honestly surprised LWTL is even on FP. Is that ride really that popular?

Our RD Kilimanjaros have been a muggy hot wait. Unless you are absolutely married to Kali, I wouldn't sacrifice an FP on it. I always use FPs for MUST dos. Our AK FPs are personally always Kilimanjaro, Everest and either Dino or Primeval (what I would consider a very fun but missable meh, and always early in case we can't make it from work). If I was going to schedule Kali, I would do so right when its stinkin hot. I guess go right at 11am then. Although you don't get as wet as you probably should on this ride. Everest to Tusker isn't bad. Dino to Tusker might be further, but you are only 'one leg' in the back. It's not that bad of a walk. (I consider it like a triangle. Straight from the front of the park to the back 'left' corner of the park is Kilimanjaro. If you take that and go straight to the right, you get to Everest, that is like 'one leg' of the triangle. And then if you take that down and go to the front of the park on the other side, is Dinoland. If that makes sense. Since you are only going back between Asia and Africa, its not too bad. Maybe less than 10 min tops.)

I agree, its easier to SR TestTrack and almost impossible to get on Soarin with out a FP. Number one rule, pick the ones you cannot live without and book that. And don't book any parades or fireworks unless you have a lot of days and already have FPs for your headliners.

You picked the right Fps for MK, I think, if you can't get 7D. We had better success SB riding it the last ride *or two!* of the day before park closing, and its much more fun at night.

No LWTL has always been a walk on for me. After TT it is a short stroll over to Mission: Space and there is never a line at that time of day. Then you can hit Ellen without much of a line. Then I head over to Turtle Talk and there isn't usually too much of a line. Then go to Soarin'. I lived in California for 40 years and Soarin' is my favorite ride at all of WDW.

So.... Soarin' at 8am (on an emh day) will have a 60-minute wait right away? How is TT later in the day? My daughter want to do both, but since she has never ridden TT, SR is probably out of the question. I was also going to do Soarin first thing in the morning and get a FP for TT later in the day. Bad idea? Should I do TT first thing in the morning and get a FP for soaring?

(Sorry to hi-jack your thread OP. I just wanted to keep this similar question in the same thread)/

Really appreciate the advice here. TT is really our only "must do" in Epcot and we wouldnt want to ride single rider on this ride so I've revised it to the following:

Day 2 - EP: Enter the park at 9am (Tuesday Oct 20th)
Test Track with no FP
Mission Space Orange with FP+ 9:30-10:30 (Tier 2 attraction)
Ellens Energy Adventure no FP
SOARIN FP+ 10:30-11:30 (Tier 1 attraction)
The Seas with Nemo and Friends with FP+ 11:30-12:30 (Tier 2 attraction)
Head to World Showcase to EAAAAAAAAAAAAAT all day @ IFWF.

After nemo, will we have a decent chance at getting another TT FP+. Maybe one to ride after WS as we leave the park?

Edit: No prob, phillymummer! Looks like we were thinking on the same things anyway.

I was going to recommend that too. LWTL can be popular with a moderately long line at higher crowd times, but should be a Tier 2 FP (They probably needed something to fill out tier 1 besides the big 2 and illuminations in case Soarin and TT are taken and people don't want to book a much later fp)
