Getting ready to book Wyndham Bonnet Creek

We currently have a reservation at POR on property. However, we are very concerned about lack of space and have heard the bus system is not great.

I decided to look into off-site options and I cannot believe the $$$ you can save! I have been in touch with a Wyndham Bonnet Creek owner and I'm planning to book. Just wondering if there is anything I am missing or should be aware of?! I don't want to get there and be surprised about something.

Check out the We Looovvveee Bonnet Creek thread on this page, it is full of fantastic info on the resort. Reading through the thread helped convince me not to stay on site this time.

We stayed there this past April/May and loved it! Pools and rooms were outstanding. The only down side is that the buses run on a set schedule and do not run as often. But we just took note of the schedule and had no problems. Totally worth all the money we saved!

That's great to hear! I just canceled my POR reservation this morning and am working with Ken at Vacation Upgrades. We will have a car, so it may be worth the extra $14/day to have the peace of mind of being able to come and go on our schedule. Did you miss having the Disney theming at all? I was thinking of bringing some of my girls stuffed animals and such to make it feel more "Disney". Also, are there any restaurants onsite? I haven't been able to find that information. THanks so much for your help!

It looks like there are a couple of cafes where you can get burgers and sandwhiches and also a place to get pizza. Not sure if you will have a car or not but there are several chain restaurants about 3 miles away as well and the hotel is close to Downtown Disney.
