We are staying at the Drury on Feb 22 and plan to go to MK on the 23rd. We also check into YC on the 23rd. I originally planned to drop the car off at YC early and take transportation to MK for rope drop but a little worried about traffic. Should we just drive to TTC instead? Likes the idea of not having to deal with the car after the park but also don’t want to deal with road closures in the morning either

Unless you have a dining or resort reservation for YC, they will not allow you to park. All Skyliner and monorail resorts are very strict with non-guests, especially in the morning when people try to park to avoid fees and use the internal transportation systems. For the half marathon, expect the roads around MK (and Epcot) to either be closed or insanely restricted until 9:30-10:00 am. HS and AK would be easier parks that morning.

We are staying at YC that day so we should be able to park there in the morning of check in. From what I see on the map though, I can take the road from Disney Springs that goes past Ft Wilderness to the TTC and hope that route is OK? I think I’m too worried to try and get to YC before 7AM that day.

OP literally says they have a reservation at YC.

ALL roads will be bad. The ' side ' roads will be busy also with cm and guest TRYING to avoid the traffic.
Pack your patience and double your travel time.

Sorry, I guess I missed that bit! Your best bet is still to use Disney transportation that morning, but it will still be slow. Buses do have some routes on which passengers cars wont’t be allowed.

Yep, I overlooked that part. (Although I’m kind of questioning myself if that was included when I originally saw the post.)
That’s ok. Yes it was originally included but no biggie. Just trying to get from here to there without too much stress

Sounds good!! DH is a very early bird so we will plan extra early and allow at least 30 minutes to get there (maps show a 15 minute drive)

Your reply was more then 12 hours later. THE original post would show if it had been edited.
