Getting places from WL

We are staying at the WL for the first time in Dec. We will have a few nonpark days. I know the bus will take us to DTD and there's a boat to take us to FW, but what about if we want to spend some time on the Boardwalk or eat at Chef Mickey's. We really don't want to drive.

As far as getting to Chef Mickey's (or anything else on the monorail line for that matter) you can take the smaller boat that services the WL/CR/FW loop. Once you are at the CR you can hop the monorail to wherever.

The WL/FW/CR boat launch is great--we used it to go from CR to WL, then walked through the woods to FW (nice walk), visited the petting zoo, lunched at Trails End, rented a water mouse at FW's marina, then took the boat back to CR.

You can also take the boat from WL to MK, and catch the monorail from there (or catch a boat from there to GF or Poly), or ride the ferry to TTC and walk over to Poly, etc.
