Getting picked up at MCO

My parents who are already in Florida for the month of February will be picking my family up at MCO on Feb. 13. Can anybody provide me where the best place is to arrange the pickup at MCO? They are driving their car to the airport.

They should pick you up outside baggage claim for your airline. The airport has a cellphone lot that they can wait in until you call them to tell them your bags have arrived. It only takes a few minutes to get from the cellphone lot to the baggage claim curb.

They can also park for free in the deck for 30 minutes, which if you don't have a ton of luggage can actually be the easiest thing to do. Have them time their arrival for about 30 minutes after your landing to be sure to ahve the time to get your bags.

My in-laws come to visit regularly, and we've found this works well for us.

Depending on the time of day, the drop off area is sometimes much less crowded than the pick up area. I often pick up DH at the drop off curb.
