Sorry - PayPal account...

it appears as pounds, but it remains in dollars and you can use it as dollars.
there should be a place in your account that says how much it is in dollars.
At least that's how my paypal works.

Hmmm, I don't seem to see it, even the transaction itself doesn't indicate it was in dollars / any details of the conversion. I wonder if there is another view somewhere I'm just not finding?

If you primary currency is GBP then on the front page of paypal you will see a total of all the currencies you hold converted to GRP. They are not really converted it just shows that way.
