Getting own luggage on ME?

I just booked ME for my trip. I arrive late at night (around 10:15) and the CM I spoke with told me she recommended I pickup my own luggage and carry it on the bus so that I don't have to wait until the next day to get it. I had heard that you weren't allowed to do this. When I asked about it, she said they usually don't allow it but they recommend it for guests traveling late.

I will be alone (DH will already be there for a meeting) but I am sure I can handle my one suitcase. But I don't want to pick it up and drag it to the bus if I am not allowed to carry it on. Has anyone done this? Or heard that this is allowed? Thanks, JJ

I haven't used the Magical Express yet, but I will be next week. I was told that if I want to bring my suitcase on the bus myself, I can do that. Don't put the yellow tags that are sent to you on your suitcase, and go to baggage claim yourself to pick it up and bring it to the magical express counter. I was told that you can put your suitcases on the bottom of the bus, so you don't have to wait for your bags at the hotel. Hope this helps.

Well, that sounds consistent with what they told me so that is reassuring. I hadn't heard anywhere else you can get your own bags. Anyone hear differently? Thanks, JJ
