have land/sea package staying at poly (non concierge) bus to ship does not leave till about noon...want to make Palo ressies & get niece(5) in oceaneers...any one find this too late or had any trouble

That might be cutting it close...there shouldn't be a line to board the ship, but if the ressies start at 1, you won't be one of the first in line. If they start at 1:30, you'll be okay. You'll definitely have to eat lunch after the ressie scramble, not before.

There's no rush to register at the club/lab. Even the next day is fine for that. However, Palo is another issue, and it will fill up.

Most of the WDW busses leave between 11:30 and 12:45, so you won't be the only ones arriving then....

At 12:30 last Saturday, getting a dinner and a brunch res were no problem. I would imagine by 1:30 there will be still some availability, but you might not get your choice of night or time. Just take whatever you can get,you won't be sorry. Go there first before doing anything else.
