getting off the ship in cozumel

i booked the royal swim for my group of 8
at the Chankanaab National Marine Park does any one
know what time we are allowed off the ship and how long it will take to get off the ship and walk down the pier and get a cab and get to the marine park

Hey!

The walk from the ship to where the cabs are should take you about 5 mins. I'm not sure how long the drive would be to the park. You should be able to get off ship early in the morning.

I want to know how you booked. Is there a website?

We took a cab over there, and the ride wasn't long at all...maybe 10 or 15 minutes if my rapidly deteriorating memory is correct. In addition to walking down the pier, there are also locals with "bicycle cabs" who will give you a ride in exchange for a tip.

We were on the Magic last week and I think people were allowed off the ship about 1/2 hour after we docked. In Cozumel, we got off after the rush. We were docked on the outside pier, so it was about a 5 minute walk to the town entrance. You take an escalator up and through the shops, then you can go down to where the taxi's are. waiting There is a sign board listing all the places they go.

Thanks for the website, I had it but couldn't find it now that I wanted it.

Sandy is too young (by one year) for everything but the Encounter. We may try that. She really wants to swim with the dolphins.
