getting MYW w/dining plan question

Ok, I keep reading how great it is but how do you get one?
Do you have to make your resorts reservations and get your MYW passes as a package or can you do it seperate?
I know you have to have MYW passes w/ dining equal to the number of days (not nights) you stay at an on site resort (at least that is what the person at reservations told me)

I have rented DVC points so can I still get the MYW with the dining package?

I just added on the dining plan, and was originally told the same thing you were. It was for the number of days not nights you were there. But when I booked it yesterday the cost was less, so I asked if it was for the 8 days and was told it was for the nights there rather than days. Maybe it is the person you talk to on a particular day, don't know.

It is for the number of nights at a resort. It is not tied to your tickets, but you must purchase atleast a basic one day ticket for each person in your party. I do not think you can do it if you rented DVC points though. You may want to check the DVC board.

You have to get it as a package. You cannot get the dining plan with rented DVC points.

We already have ressie for 6 night at YC at DH's conference rate and purchased our park tickets. Can we add dining plan?
