Getting my Virgin booking ref if booked through WDW

We have booked our next holiday direct through WDW flying with Virgin. My question is do you still get a Virgin booking reference before you fly to pre-book your seats or is it pot luck at the airport? We've never NOT booked with Virgin Holidays before so a bit unsure how it works!

When are you flying?

If it's over 11 months then you won't have a reference yet with Virgin Atlantic. Once 11 Months arrives you can pay for (if needed) and choose your seats. I would call DisneyHolidays.co.uk to find out when they can provide your ref.

I must admit I begrudge paying to pick our seats but DH points out (quite rightly I suppose) that with how much we have spent on the holiday it would be silly not to pay the comprativeley small amount to ensure I am sitting holding his hand at take off and not some complete stranger! Plus 9 hours is a long time to have your nose clamped under the sweaty armpit of someone taking up half of your space as well as their own!

We flew in July and are flying club numbers do you can book 72 hours beforehand. There was plenty of choice and I'm glad I didn't pay the extra for the 4 of us.
