So with H1N1 all around us, I will be getting my vaccine this morning... I am in the high risk group..... have to keep my transplant working.

Anyone here get the shot? If so any problems..

I got mine a few weeks ago. (I'm a health care worker who works with infants and pregnant women) No issues! (Although I was on heavy duty painkillers that day because my baby scratched my cornea)

I didn't get the shot but I did get the "mist" without any side effects or reactions.

Hope everything goes as smoothly for you.!:thumbsup2

I would like to, but there is none in this part of NJ yet. My asthma specialist doesn't have it and neither do the drug stores.

not yet, not in the high risk group and the line-ups are loooonnnnnggg right now

Try calling your local Health Department. That's where my kids got theirs last night.

DS8 hates getting shots but the process was quick and easy. They aren't even charging for the shots. But, are giving them out to priority patients first since folks with asthma, etc... shouldn't get the flu mist (it has live virus).

Both of my kids are in the age range that requires a second shot in another month.

My kids and I got the mist Wednesday night, and we haven't felt any side effects so far. :thumbsup2 My kids also need to go back for a second dose in 4 weeks.

My 2yo daughter got the mist yesterday, so far with no problems. :thumbsup2 She got the regular flu shot along with it. She has been telling everyone that the doctor got her and then lifting her dress up to show off the bandaids! :goodvibes

I got the shot yesterday and so far, no side effects. My arm is less sore than it was from the seasonal flu shot.
