Getting my dress! PICTURES ADDED

I just got a call from David's bridal that my dress is in! Now I get to go and see how much weight I have to loose to actually fit into it!
I order it small (it didn't come in big sizes then) but I can re-order it in a Women's size if I don't think I'll be able to fit into the skinny size!

You must be soo excited that you can go see it & try it on, i think all us girls panic over our weight when it comes to the dreaded idea of not being able to get our dress on. Ok here are some dress pictures!

I only have about 2 more inches to loose before it fits.
The manager at Davids told me that if it doesn't fit by October that she can order it for me in a Women's size (they didn't make it in women's sizes when I first ordered it). I would however have to pay 100 dollars more to get a women's size. I really just hope I can loose the 2 inces.....and keep them off!!!!

That's a beautiful dress. I'm sure you can lose the 2 inches. If you're into workout videos there is a series I really liked when I was trying to get ready for bathing suit season. I used the Self: Bikini Ready Fast, Self: Slim and Sleek Fast , and there's another one by Self that's for Ab work. They're all three really good and you can see results after 4 weeks. But I could feel a difference in my skin and muscles after 2. Good luck!

you look like a princess in that dress! I know what you mean about losing weight - I started almost 8 weeks ago with 98 pounds to lose for our VR next year, and with diet and excercise I've lost 19 pounds already so you CAN do it - just think of your goal, perhaps keep a photo of you in your dress and when the going gets tough - just look at the pic and remember WHY you're doing it. GOOD LUCK! (I'm off for a jog now!!)

I'm pretty positive that I can do it. When I first tried on a dress in this size(16) I had 5 inches to loose and now i'm down to 2.

Namsupak- I will look into thoes self videos! I used a tae-bo video to loos most of my weight but i've gotten bored with it. Switching it up would probably be a good idea!

Ditto on that one! I had to order my dress in June despite only getting married next March due to it being discontinued. I put off ordering as long as I could but it's on its way now. I purposely ordered it one size smaller (I was right between two sizes) and the shop I bought it from called me twice to make sure it was really the size I meant to order! I don't know about you girls, but my shop actually made me sign a contract saying that the manufacturer was making the dress the size I ordered and if it doesn't fit, I can't blame the shop, manufacturer or designer. I have two inches to lose and am hoping to pull it off before November when my dress comes in. There should be a support thread for this!

Oh what a beautiful dress! I know you can do it. I am trying to do the same thing. I am also on the cusp of ordering a womens size and a few more inches I will be a 14. I really want to try to loose the inches before I buy the dress. We can both do it I am with you girl
