Getting my Disney Visa in 4 more days!!!

After much debate and thought process, I'm finally getting my Disney Visa!!!! Extremely excited!! Wanted to know what my fellow DISers think of the Disney Visa and how have you benefited from it? I can hardly wait til it comes in the mail!!!

I've had one for several years now and I have heard from others that it really isn't the best rewards card, but I am able to have a free Disney vacation because of it. I've had a lot of referrals, I put absolutely everything on the card each month, and I've had lots of work done on my house put on the card. So, thanks to a great code and the Disney Visa, my next trip is paid for.

I hate to be a "Debbie Downer" but I've had my Disney Visa for about 5 years now and I refuse to ever use it again. The rewards aren't bad but there are other cards out there that offer better rewards.

Also, chase has continuously raised my interest rates even though I have never missed a payment and always paid well over the minimum. I usually pay my card off completely. It seems Chase doesn't like you if you pay all your bills on time.

My interest rate is higher on that card than on my 2 other cards combined. I will keep the card open but I will never use it again.

We use ours for almost everything. I have a ton of Disney reward points on it. Every time I have spoken with someone in customer service (not often) they have been very nice, efficient and took care of whatever it was I was calling about. I couldn't tell you what my interest rate is because we always pay it off in full, so it doesn't matter. I don't even know if they raised it or not.

You only earn $1 for each $100 spent (although they actually round up, so $150 would get you $2) so it's NOT the best rewards card by a long ways. It is not our main card, but the 'reward' you usually get for opening the account is nice. My wife just got a card this summer and I think we got a $100 gift card to use on our trip next year.

The good news is that for now there is no annual fee and you do get occassional discounts at the disney store and a free photo at EPCOT.

If I were choosing 1 CC for rewards, this would not be it but since it doesnt cost anything I keep it around and use on places that don't take AMEX.

We used to have one and i have seen lots of posts commiserating over Chase's treatment of Disney customers. Evidently the "Disney" perks for having it (like no interest on cruise/package deposits for a period of time) have changed. It isn't the same card as when it first came out.

Can't say that if I were to ever get a CC ever again that I would choose to be a Chase customer.

I LOVE mine. I have one of the old school Ariel cards! I am so sad that when I get married next month I wont be able to get another Ariel, as they don't make them anymore.

I love when people see my Ariel or Nemo card and comment. It has started some really fun conversations!
I even got DF to get one about a year ago, so we have both been collecting dream dollars, for our upcoming vacation. We are using them as tips at TS restaurants, so we don't have spend cash one them.

As far as the raising the interest, they raised mine, I called and asked why ( I pay in full every month, never carry a balance) they said that prime went up, so it wasn't really like they are doing it to just me.........
And as far as other cards having better rewards, probably but 1) its free money 2) the car is too cute! 3) the money is locked in for Disney stuff

yea we have the debit card. I got the dalmatians and darling fiance has the navy mickey mouse card.

I just got mine about a month ago. I have the Tinkerbell one and I got a $200 gift card after the first purchase I made with my card! I'm going to use it to pay for part of my park ticket for our trip in April!

WHY would that get anyone excited???

As far as the cartoon characters...............I work retail and whenever someone gives me a card with cartoon characters on it, I think it makes the person seem not grownup...YKWIM?
