Getting married in an offsite church & reception at WDW

We are getting married January 7, 2006 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (the church would not budge on allowing us to get married at the WP) & we are having the reception at Epcot Center followed by an Illuminations DP. That being said, I was wondering if anyone else got married off-site & had the reception at WDW. If so, did your Wedding Planner accompany & help out at the ceremony or were you on your own until you reached Disney property? I am curious because I was originally told Disney could provide floral, anything we needed at the church, but have since been told they are not allowed to enter outside churches. Kind of annoying since I still have to pay the min. TIA
 
I certainly don’t know for sure, but I would imagine that Disney’s coordinators only help with the portion of your wedding that takes place on Disney property.
 
I do know of a bride from another board who got married at an outside church and had her reception in Disney. She used many outside vendors for her event (photo, video and floral). I believe she got buses for her guests through Disney. I do know that the WP will not go off site for a wedding - but will assist you in everything that takes place on Disney property. You may need to look for outside vendors for floral, photo and video though - since I don't think Disney will send their staff off-site.
