Getting Luggage From One Resort To the Next?

Hi!

If you have ever stayed at more than one resort while at Disney, and didn't rent a car, How did you get your luggage from one place to the next? Thanks!

Call bell services when you get ready to check out of one resort and tell them that you are moving to the other resort. Go to the park and have a good time. Check in at your new resort that evening and tell them you had your luggage transfered from another resort. That simple.

Usually the bags will transfer between 2 and 3 in the afternoon. Since you normally can't check in until about 4, the bags should be there when you do.

We've done this several times and Disney makes it so easy. Just call bell services when you're about ready to leave in the morning, tell them you're moving to whatever resort and they will transport your bags to the new resort and keep them in storage until you check in there.

We did this once and won't do it again. They lost our bags, no one had any idea where they were. They were delivered several hours after they said they would be, and that was only because a manager at the BW got involved. Otherwise it could have been days before they were found.

We were staying just 1 night at CSR and then transferring to CBR to meet family the next day. When we checked in about midnight the CM told me that not only would they move our bags, they would move us as well. We had heard from the boards it was a bags only deal. Well the next morning we called bell services. When the CM came to pick up our bags I mentioned it to him. He said that they don't move people ususally and I said fine. But he went to the phone anyway and called the front desk. He gave them a hard time, turned away laughing and said that they are all like brothers and sisters, love to see the other one goof up and they would be picking up us and our luggage for transport to CBR as soon as he had us up front.
We have also left our luggage many times either before we could check in or after we checked out, but before we left and have never had a problem.
