Getting into the Disney spirit ......

Good idea :)

We have a mickey waffle maker - we sometimes have those for brekkie on a sunday. I also make boma chicken curry soup sometimes.

How have I never thought of this?????

Guys this is amazing :worship: just made my day to have think about some Disney yummy stuff at home!

Where did you get the mickey waffle maker???

Could you please share the recipes if you have some lying around pretty please :):):):):):laughing:

Also- a non related posting
but I just got sooooo excited, that last post made me a Mouseketeer :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::banana::banana::cheer2:

yay congratulations!

Mine is by Ariete and I got it off ebay (there are 2 on there now in uk) Like a toasted sandwick maker.

It does 4 small waffles - not as fat as in the park but still good. DH stands over it whilst they cook and says it smells like disney!

If you look on allears.net it has all the disney recipes - my boma one is off there - coconut curry chicken soup.

They sell lots of the American things in Selfridges, inc mixes for the breakfast biscuits and cornbread to name a few! popcorn::

Debs x

Sorry I don't know what the Funnel Cake recipe is  it's from a pack we bought when we were there, we just buy new mix from the website

I can really recommend the cracker barrel pancake mix - comes in a box for $4.99 from their shop. Had those last weekend and they were really nice and easy to make. Wished i'd bought more than one box.

Also brought back jiffy cornbread muffin mix - 50 cents a box from walmart and ghiradelli brownie mix.

There are usually some on ebay.

They were sold as a deal in currys? one xmas for a bargain price. I missed out on that but I guess alot of people got them for gifts that year and sell them on ebay if they are unwanted - mine was brand new.

we got our mickey waffle maker, which is the same as Dixonontour, from Comets. We have little phases of using it and I think its time to dig it out again.:)

We have pancakes and waffles every sunday for late breakfast our boys call it their American breakfast! Im pleased to see im not the only one who does this!! I am now after reading this thread going to buy a Mickey waffle maker so I can surprise the boys :woohoo: never even thought about it before I normally just make a huge stack of the thick pancakes that are side plate sized & then make another stack of smaller fruit juice cup sized ones for the ears,They love making different Mickey faces each with fruit etc.and we always have to have Maple syrup NOT golden syrup "the boys say it just doesnt smell/taste the same as Disney ones other wise":rotfl:

Do you all have the sausage and bacon with the maple syrup as well? I am vege so that doesn't appeal to me but even when I was a meaty the thought of maple syrup on sausage and bacon just didn't appeal at all. But I am lead to believe its rather nice:confused3:)
